The continuing education course also discusses the Budget Sheet, and how to use the sheet to guide the business through difficult economic conditions. Samples of all 4 financial reports are included.
Once completing Part 2 the reader will have the skills to properly interpert these reports, and to take the proper management action.
3 PDH for $73.50
Although not intended to make you a finacial wizard, Part 3 does attempt to address the common financial terms and indicators that every successful engineering manager should at least have a basic understanding.
The Financial Terms discussed are commonly used within financial reports. Although many terms may sound similar, they usually have completely different meanings. Case in point, terms like write-off and write-down.
This continuing education course also discusses the many different types of the common Financial Indicators that are found on the financial statements. These indicators are separated into 4 categories:
- Profitability Metrics
- Liquidity Metrics and Working Capital
- Cash Ratios
- Financing Ratios
Understanding the financial terms and indicators found in Part 3 will immediately improve your company's ability to adjust to continuously evolving economic conditions.
